Esquyna Games is made by Esquyna Labs (esquynalabs@gmail.com). This policy covers the Esquyna Games app on iPhone, iPad and Android, and the arcade at games.esquyna.com/play.
What stays on your device
Your progress, scores, settings and the games you downloaded are saved on your device, or in your browser on the web. We do not ask for an account and we do not collect your name, email, contacts or precise location.
Gameplay statistics
To learn which games are played and to fix what breaks, the app and the arcade send events to PostHog (servers in the European Union): app opened, game opened and closed, runs started and finished, time played, shares, ads shown and errors. Each event carries a random installation code created on your device, the app and game version, platform and language. PostHog receives your IP address, used only to estimate your country.
On iPhone, iPad and Android the app also uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to measure usage and to receive crash reports. Firebase collects an app instance ID and device and usage data as described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Statistics are kept for up to 24 months and are never sold.
Advertising
On iPhone, iPad and Android the app shows ads through Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos and, now and then, an ad between two runs, never in the middle of one. AdMob may collect device identifiers (the Android Advertising ID or the Apple IDFA, when you allow it), IP address and ad interaction data to serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud.
On iPhone and iPad you are asked for tracking permission first. Where consent is required (EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland and some US states) you are asked through Google’s consent form, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy choices. The arcade on the web shows no ads.
Children
Esquyna Games is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and deleting data
You can turn off personalized ads in Settings › Privacy choices or in your device settings. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the site data in your browser, removes what is saved on your device.
To delete the statistics linked to your installation code, write to esquynalabs@gmail.com and we remove them within 30 days.
